Mobile app development
About ten years shipping mobile apps here — delivery, rides, logistics, salon and laundry booking, e-commerce. JavaScript and React on web products; Framework7 and Cordova for store apps. App Store and Play Store releases included.
What I actually do
I lead mobile on multi-service platforms — think admin app, merchant app, consumer app, and the PHP layer behind all of them. Food, rides, logistics, booking, commerce — the roles repeat; the rules don't.
Client calls, architecture, coordinating with the team, store submissions — that's the day job. When the product also needs a web admin or member portal, I build that too.
Stack — today and what I'm adding
What's in production: mobile apps (Framework7 and Cordova), PHP, MySQL, JavaScript. One person can take it from server plan to app icon.
What I'm growing through real work: React, React Native, Next.js. AI tools speed things up — I still review every change before release.
AI speed, my sign-off
I use AI every day. I don't ship what it spits out unchecked.
Before release I walk security, edge cases, backend hooks, and store rules. That's what clients pay for.
Industries & product types
Food and dispatch, on-demand rides, packages and errands, salon and laundry booking, clinic and home-service slots, online stores, photo contests, MLM-style member portals. Different industries — similar multi-role shape.
FAQ
Questions I get asked
Do you work with React and React Native?
Yes — React ships on production web work (including this site) on a JavaScript foundation from years of mobile and PHP delivery. Framework7 and Cordova remain my core on live app stores. React Native joins when the product calls for it — same review and release discipline either way.
Can you publish to the App Store and Google Play?
That's part of the job. I've been handling submissions, updates, and release cycles for Framework7 + Cordova apps since 2020.
iOS and Android from one codebase?
Usually yes — Cordova plus Framework7 covers both. Platform-specific store rules and testing still get their own pass.
Ballpark cost?
Depends on scope. A single-role app is not the same as admin + merchant + consumer portals with dispatch. Send what you're trying to build and I'll give you a straight answer.
What's your main stack?
Day to day it's mobile apps (Framework7 and Cordova), PHP, and MySQL — plus getting apps through Google Play and the App Store. I'm building React, React Native, and Next.js through actual projects (this portfolio included). I'll pick up new tools when there's a clear workflow and time to review before release.
How do you use AI without breaking production?
AI helps me draft UI, boilerplate, and first-pass server logic. It doesn't get the final say. I still walk through security, business logic, integrations, and store requirements myself — same as I have for years of releases on live platforms. Fast drafts, careful ship.
Do you work with teams outside the Philippines?
Yes. I'm based in the Philippines and work with local teams and remote clients. English is fine, and I'm used to coordinating across time zones on production teams and direct collaboration.
